For immigration and citizenship application procedures, the Federal Government of Canada requests proof of the applicants’ linguistic knowledge of French.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has recognized the TEF for these purposes since 2002. The TEF format that applies to these procedures is TEF Canada.

The statements of results are in digital format.
After Le français des affaires has received and corrected your exam, you will be sent an email within about 2 to 4 weeks, containing a link that will enable you to access your secure digital area and obtain your statement of results.

The certificate lists your scores on each of the examinations. To determine the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) corresponding to your score, please refer to the CLB equivalency charts.
The results are valid for two years.

When your register for the TEF Canada examination, Le Français des Affaires will collect a certain amount of information in accordance with the Canadian laws on immigration applications.
If you obtain the required level, your data will be made available to the Canadian authorities. If you object to the transmission of this information or if you delete or modify this data, the Canadian authorities will be unable to process your immigration or citizenship application.
Le Français des Affaires at CCI Paris Ile-de-France CCI will keep your data on file for 10 years. The data transmitted to the Canadian authorities will be kept on file in accordance with Canadian laws.
