As a pioneer in certification, assessment and training in Professional French, Le français des affaires / Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) works to promote the French language.

Since 1958, we have been helping increase the visibility of the French-speaking world of business, alongside our partners: institutions, organizations and establishments involved in teaching and spreading the French language around the world.

Le français des affaires benefits from the Paris Île-de-France CCI’s in-depth knowledge of the business world, its mastery of changes in industry-specific language, and the engineering and expertise recognized by our customers and partners.

We offer our expertise and skills in assessment and certification to our partners by designing, distributing and promoting certifications in general and Professional French.

Every year, nearly 114,000 candidates undertake our tests and diplomas – the Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) and the Diploma in French for Professions (DFP) – in close partnership with a network of over 500 centers worldwide.

The Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) is a public body and major stakeholder in the French economy, serving businesses, young people and local communities to promote growth and employment. It stands for the interests of more than 1,200,000 companies, accounting for 31% of the national GDP.

The Paris Île-de-France CCI is also one of France’s leading players in the field of education. Every year, its Education Group trains more than 60,000 students and apprentices, 36,000 adults in lifelong learning, through 14 schools recognized in France and internationally for the quality of their teaching and their ability to adapt to the needs of businesses and local communities.

Le français des affaires is part of the International Attractiveness Directorate of the Education Group of the Paris Île-de-France CCI.

The International Attractiveness Directorate is highly involved in the international development of the 14 Paris Île-de-France CCI schools. In 1984, it created Join a School in France, an international student recruitment service.
